SUPERSTAR Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe headlines a list of 34 players ineligible to win this year's Brownlow Medal.

Awarded to the best and fairest player in the AFL, the Brownlow can’t be presented to anyone who has been suspended.

The Dockers captain copped a one-match ban for striking Collingwood hard nut Levi Greenwood in round 11.

Up until round 15, when Freo lost to Brisbane and Fyfe suffered a right hamstring injury, he led AFL.com.au's Brownlow predictor on 20 votes, including six best-on-ground performances.

The 27-year-old would miss the next six matches.

He ended up equal seventh on the predictor, alongside Brisbane jet Dayne Beams.

Another who won't be victorious is West Coast wingman Andrew Gaff, after his shocking punch saw Fremantle draftee Andrew Brayshaw floored in a spiteful round 20 Western Derby.

The Eagle ended with a tally of 14 votes in the predictor.

Only Melbourne has not had anyone rubbed out this year.
