THE THREAT of showers is unlikely to deter thousands of footy fans from converging on Melbourne's CBD on Friday for the Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade.

The parade, supported by the City of Melbourne, starts at noon AEST at the Old Treasury Building on Spring Street.

West Coast and Collingwood players and coaches will be driven south to Wellington Parade, continuing east until they reach the Footy Festival precinct at Yarra Park.

Before the parade, the coaches and captains will face the media at 11.15am AEST.
