STANDOUT draft prospect Max King trained at St Kilda on Thursday morning – the club that may select him with pick No.4 in the NAB AFL Draft a matter of hours later.

King, 18, continued the rehabilitation he has been doing at Moorabbin for his knee reconstruction since the middle of the year.

He was confined to the gym, while the Saints players were out on the track.

In his Phantom Draft, AFL.com.au draft guru Callum Twomey predicted the 204cm forward would become a Saint on Thursday night, or otherwise would be taken with pick No.5 by Port Adelaide should St Kilda pass on the Saints supporter.

Recruits Dan Hannebery and Dean Kent trained with the entire squad for the first time on Thursday, with every player on the track at RSEA Park, along with draft hopeful Tom Jok.

Several Saints were confined to running laps as part of their managed programs.

Captain Jarryn Geary (knee), ruckman Billy Longer (left ankle) and Kent (right shoulder) have had surgery in recent months.

Key forward Paddy McCartin didn't join the drills, with the 22-year-old yet to be added to the main group after his left foot Lisfranc sprain in July.

Four-time best and fairest Jack Steven sported bandaging on his right calf as he completed his laps, while Jake Carlisle, Seb Ross, Dylan Roberton, Hunter Clark and David Armitage also stuck to running.

Ross came fourth in last week's time trial, while Roberton also completed the 3km race after missing the bulk of 2018 with a heart issue.

Jok, 21, represented Collingwood's VFL side last season and lined up in its final seven games, and has been training with the Saints in a bid to be drafted.
