In his own words
What type of player are you?
Tall midfielder who plays predominantly around the wing or high half-forward. Smart player who reads ball well and has a big tank.
Which AFL player do you feel you resemble, and why?
Robert Murphy from the Bulldogs. He is a tallish forward without being a 'key' and also has the ability to float up the field and act as a 'link' player through the middle.
What are your strengths as a footballer?
My strengths are overhead mark and marking in general. Football brain or ability to read the play. Endurance and goalkicking.
What parts of your game would you like to improve?
Speed, strength, agility. These will come with age, but I need to work on them. Also, my mental side in recovery after a mistake and general body language.
Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them?
Richmond Tigers. Not sure, just began following them when I was young.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career so far, and why?
Cale, Jarryd and Mitch Morton. They were my neighbours in Lake Grace. I thought that if they could make it to AFL, why couldn't I?
