In his own words What type of player are you? I consider myself a tough, inside half-forward/midfielder. I play with the mentality that to get a possession, I'm the one that will put my head over it and dish off to my teammate in space.
Which AFL player do you most resemble, and why? Max Rooke - both tough, defensive forwards that put their body on the line for their teammates. Like Max, I'm not afraid to go back with the flight and provide strong forward line tackling pressure.
What are your strengths as a footballer? My courage to put my head over the ball and win it. I can win my own footy, or if not, provide my teammate with support to win it. I'm also versatile, having the ability to play up forward, down back, or in a shut-down role.
What parts of your game would you like to improve? As I'm an inside player, I win a lot of ball in close, so I'd like to improve my execution under pressure. By doing this, it will improve my kicking efficiency.
Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them? I barrack for Essendon, just because Mum and Dad supported them. However, these days I'll watch any team play and support the game of AFL rather than just a team.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career so far, and why? I think every AFL player that has gone on to play the game from my position at the moment. The sacrifice, the commitment and the ability to follow your dream has inspired me, and influenced myself to do the same.
