CAMERON Cloke has been delisted by Carlton after three seasons.

Cloke, 25 next month, played 36 matches and kicked 25 goals for the Blues after crossing from Collingwood at the end of 2006.

He had played 21 matches in three injury-riddled seasons with the Magpies.

Cloke's last game for the Blues was the elimination final loss to the Brisbane Lions. He was recalled for that match after serving a club-imposed suspension for turning up late to a recovery session.

In February, he was punched and kicked by teammate Setanta O'hAilpin during an intra-club practice match. It is understood the players later reconciled.

Cloke was recruited as a father-son selection by the Magpies at the end of 2003, joining older brother Jason. Younger brother Travis was added a year later.

A handy back-up ruckman for Carlton, the emergence of Robert Warnock, Matthew Kreuzer, Sam Jacobs and Shaun Hampson put pressure on him to keep his spot.

General manager of football operations Steven Icke said the decision on Cloke was made in the interests of list development.

"We thank Cameron for his contribution to the Carlton Football Club, both on and off the field, and we wish him well for the future," Icke said.

Speculation mounted about Cloke's future with his absence from Carlton training on Friday morning.

He is one of 10 players to depart the Blues since the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Fremantle has cut midfielder Andrew Foster as part of the AFL's second list lodgement.

Foster, 24, played five of his nine games this season and will continue training with the club in the hope of being given another opportunity through the national, pre-season or rookie drafts.
