A RADICAL countdown of the top 10 picks will be the feature of this year's NAB AFL Draft, which will be shown live on Fox Sports Two from 6:30pm this Thursday.
For the first time, the top 10 will be counted down live on TV after the first round selections are chosen in camera, then presented publicly by AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou.
"I'd like to thanks Fox Sports for their support of the 2009 NAB AFL Draft which will enable football fans across the country to watch their clubs selections live," Demetriou said.
"Fox Sports does an outstanding job in broadcasting live 88 games of our season each year, and I'd like to thank Rod Law (general manager, Fox Sports Melbourne) and the team for another great event."
The first pick will be interviewed live on the night, as will Melbourne coach Dean Bailey, whose team has the first two selections.
The Fox Sports coverage will be hosted by former premiership players Jason Dunstall and Alastair Lynch, along with Fox Sports News' Sarah Jones.
AFL national talent manager Kevin Sheehan and Fox Sports' Liam Pickering will provide special comments and analysis of the clubs' selections.
