Does anyone know about Marcus Drum . 191 cm and taken about top in the draft. I think he has had a few injuries and could not break into the Freo side last year. Is he a good contested mark ? Can he play good inside footy ?Can he hit targets? Geelong should trade Varcoe for Drum and even Blake. Blake needs to be traded. He was very lucky to play in the GF and simply doesn't do enough around the ground.

None of your three trades have any merit at all.
Collingwood have a pretty solid defensive group and don't really need Tarrant at either end.
They also managed to get way more out of Medhurst than what Fremantle could so they'll put it down to a bad year and hope he bounces back. Fremantle are rebuilding so they only want picks not players anyway.
Drum for lovett is far from a fair swap, Lovett can be a match winner and while Drum has potential as a defender he hasn't delivered so far.
Then there is your Peake for Fev trade. On what planet is that trade fair???

A trade I'd like to see done at Adelaide; Nathen Van Berlo & Jonothon Griffen,traded to Freo for Freo's 1st & 4th round draft pick.

I reckon that Chris Tarrant will get traded for Paul Medhurst(but will Medhurst want to go back to the club he started at IF he started his career at Freo), Marcus Drum will go to Essendon for Lovett, Peake will go to Carlton For Fevola

im a hawthorn supporter and i havent seen much of Marcus Drum.

Nathan, agree with you line of thinking. I'd certainly not trade Luke Ball. There's no guaranteed uplift & he's still an important part of midfield rotations. If Peake can be collected for even an early pick OK, but unless Leigh Fisher has permanently lost his pace (post-hamstring) then I'd look at keeping him too.

i think peake will head to stkilda for a late draft pick and maybe leigh fisher
and it surpirise me if fremantle want ball in that trade but i think it would be smart for saints to keep ball he a true leader!
