Canberra's home of Australian Football and cricket has a close tie to Australia's home of AFL and cricket, the MCG. It is the Jack Fingleton Scoreboard, which was the original scoreboard at the MCG.
The oval recently received a $9 million upgrade to maintain its standing as the premier ground for Australian Football in the nation's capital. The upgrade included new seating, extended terraces and more.
Western Bulldogs and Melbourne have each played one home game at the venue since 2006. Prior to that, the Kangaroos called it home once a season before taking games up to the Gold Coast.
Public car parking is available at a number of locations around Manuka Oval including Kingston Shopping Centre, Manuka Shopping Centre, Kingston Oval and surrounding streets. Please see detailed parking map below for which streets are available for parking. Please note cars parked illegally will be liable for fines.
Disabled Parking is directly outside the Main Gate of Manuka Oval with limited spaces available. Vehicles must display authorised permits to gain access.
When inside the venue, please see a customer service representative if you require further assistance.
Wheelchair accessible seating in the outer ground is on the concourse level only with reserved seats and lift access to the Bradman Stand Concourse also available. For disabled seating, please advise Ticketek when booking to ensure the appropriate allocation of a reserved disabled seat.
The closest train station to the venue is Kingston, the terminus for CountryLink services from around the country. Visit CountryLink for more information.
A variety of bus services are available in and around Canberra. For more information, visit ACTION, Canberra's bus service.
