The oval recently received a $9 million upgrade to maintain its standing as the premier ground for Australian Football in the nation's capital. The upgrade included new seating, extended terraces and more.

Manuka Oval's record crowd was 14,974 during the 2016 Toyota AFL Premiership Sesaon GWS Giants v Richmond match.
