Getting there

Public Transport
The Queensland Government confirmed that all transport in South East Queensland will be free of charge on tomorrow, Saturday March 25.

Event shuttle buses will run to Metricon Stadium from the following locations commencing at 11.15am until 12.55pm:

  • Nerang Station
  • Broadbeach South Station
  • Boowaggan Road Park 'n' Ride

Return services commence at ¾ time of the NAB AFL Women's Grand Final until one hour after the conclusion the match. Shuttles will operate as per normal for the Gold Coast Suns vs Brisbane Lions Round 1 Toyota AFL Premiership Season match.

Supporters can plan their travel using public transport via www.translink.com.au 

A limited number of persons with a disability (PWD) car park spaces are available in the Red Car Park at Metricon Stadium for holders of a valid, Government issued disability parking permit. These car parks will be issued to customers on a first in, first served basis.

Parking
Public on-street parking: Please note that there will be no public parking available at Metricon Stadium for the 2017 NAB AFL Women’s Grand Final, and parking restrictions will be enforced in the areas surrounding Metricon Stadium.

Valid parking permits are required to access Metricon Stadium’s car parks, without these permits vehicles will be refused entry. Permits are not available for purchase by the public.

The all-new Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast opened in Round 10, 2011 when the Gold Coast Suns hosted Geelong. 

The original stadium opened in 1987 as home of the Brisbane Bears.

The redeveloped Metricon Stadium has seating for approximately 25,000 fans and first-class corporate facilities.
