  Player   Position Biography

Tom Hawkins
GEELONG CATS
Forward

The Cats' leading goalkicker for a seventh consecutive year also led the Cats’ goal assist count. He took the second most marks inside forward 50 in the AFL last year and will be the focal point that could tear apart AFLX.

Steele Sidebottom
COLLINGWOOD
Midfielder

The Collingwood vice-captain is an elite midfielder, and lifted his game to new heights last year to finish runner-up in the Brownlow Medal. Averaged 29.3 touches in 2018.

Mark Blicavs
GEELONG CATS
Midfielder

Often taking the opposition’s No.1 forward, his reach, endurance and closing speed is a lethal combination. Has gone from back-up ruckman, wingman and tagger to one of the premier defenders in the competition.

Robbie Gray*
PORT ADELAIDE
Forward

One of the League's most skilful and dynamic players. Gray's ability to influence games through the midfield and as a small forward is perfectly suited to AFLX.

Andrew Gaff
WEST COAST EAGLES
Midfielder

Gaff's transition into an inside midfielder saw him enjoy a career-best campaign and earn All-Australian honours, and his running power is ideal for AFLX. Hasn't played since his crude strike on Fremantle youngster Andrew Brayshaw saw him suspended and miss out on West Coast's premiership.

Luke Parker
SYDNEY SWANS
Midfielder

A versatile player who excels in every facet of the game, lending himself perfectly to AFLX. He wins his own footy out of the middle, takes a strong mark overhead and hits the scoreboard frequently.

Jaidyn Stephenson
COLLINGWOOD
Forward

The electrifying forward/midfielder became just the second player to play 26 games in his debut season and kicked 38 goals. Will be a handful on the AFLX pitch.

Andrew McGrath
ESSENDON
Defender

The versatile Bomber has progressed to playing in the midfield, where his pace, toughness and smarts began to come to the fore. Essendon’s first No.1 draft pick is considered a future leader of the club and star of the competition.

Jack Billings
ST KILDA
Midfielder

Perhaps the most talented player on the St Kilda's list, Billings can play wing but has produced his best footy as a half-forward. His precise field kicking will be valuable and if his goalkicking radar is on, he could be one of the best AFLX prospects.

Daniel Rich
BRISBANE LIONS
Defender

Now a seasoned veteran, Rich's penetrating left boot will be a huge asset in AFLX. He can be used as a counter-attacking weapon from defensive 50, or the go to guy when a supergoal is needed.

Robbie Tarrant*
NORTH MELBOURNE
Defender

Can be relied on to shut down the opposition’s best key forward but can also offer a great counter-attacking option. Started his career as a tall forward so look for him to be an offensive weapon if his side need to score.

Jack Steele
ST KILDA
Midfielder

Has taken scalps the calibre of Clayton Oliver, Ollie Wines and David Swallow as a tagger but can also win clearances at will. His big body means he has plenty of impact at the contest and few have as big an appetite for tackling.

Tom Rockliff
PORT ADELAIDE
Midfielder

Replacing fellow Port star Robbie Gray, the big-bodied midfielder will be a handy inclusion to the Bolts.

Jamie Macmillan
NORTH MELBOURNE
Defender

A late inclusion for fellow North star Robbie Tarrant.

*Will miss due to injury
