  Player   Position Biography

Lachie Whitfield
GWS GIANTS
Defender

Naturally gifted with speed and endurance and is strong overhead. The 2018 All-Australian will benifit the Rampage in defence with his run and carry.

Rory Sloane
ADELAIDE CROWS
Midfielder

The bash-and-crash midfielder is one of the most courageous players in the game. Those with speed on the outside will benefit enormously from Sloane's ability to find them in space.

Phil Davis
GWS GIANTS
Defender

The co-captain is among the competition’s best key defenders and will provide a strong pillar to build his team’s backline around. Can also provide a great springboard for scoring opportunities.

Dayne Zorko
BRISBANE LIONS
Midfielder

Dangerous in the mid or up forward, the dynamic Lion won his fourth successive Merrett-Murray Medal last year, despite dealing with opposition taggers, and the added responsibility of captain.

Isaac Smith*
HAWTHORN
Midfielder

The prototype AFLX player, the long-striding and big-kicking wingman can turn defence into attack in an instant. His 26-goals from the wing last year is evidence of his ability to hit the scoreboard from anywhere.

Luke Breust*
HAWTHORN
Forward

Brilliant inside 50 and possessing an ability to create goals from half-chances, Breust can also pinch-hit through the middle as required. Also a deceptively strong tackler in his own attacking zone.

Easton Wood
WESTERN BULLDOGS
Defender

Injuries have wreaked havoc with his continuity in recent times but Wood remains one of the best intercept defenders in the competition. His reading of the play and marking ability will be vital in AFLX.

Tom McDonald*
MELBOURNE
Forward

Turned himself into a genuine star forward in 2018 as one of the most accurate set-shot goalkickers in the AFL. Can also push back into defence if required, his versatility invaluable.

Dylan Shiel
ESSENDON
Midfielder

The new Bomber's explosiveness, pace and strength will excel in the AFLX format. Expect him to have a big influence at centre clearances, where he has been one of the best-performed players in the AFL in recent years.

Shaun Higgins
NORTH MELBOURNE
Midfielder

A damaging midfielder, Higgins can hit the scoreboard regularly but also bring his teammates into the game with pinpoint disposal. Oozing class and always on the move, Higgins will revel in the pace of AFLX.

Tim Membrey
ST KILDA
Defender

Despite often being manned by taller opponents, Membrey marks strongly but also goes well at ground level and has the endurance to push further up the field, making him the prototype AFLX marking target.

Zac Fisher
CARLTON
Midfielder

The young Blue wins plenty of the ball and provides run and carry. Has a penetrating left boot and can kick a long goal on the run. Tackles hard and is a good decision-maker.

Lachie Weller
GOLD COAST SUNS
Midfielder

The Gold Coast star will be a late inclusion to Team Rampage.

Jared Polec
NORTH MELBOURNE
Midfielder

The North Melbourne recruit will be a late inclusion to Team Rampage.

Bayley Fritsch
MELBOURNE
Forward

The Melbourne young gun will replace fellow teammate Tom McDonald.
