But Port has proven in the past year and a bit that it can more easily handle teams sitting around the middle of the ladder, and has beaten St Kilda in 12 of their past 13 meetings.

St Kilda (2-4) might point to playing three matches in 11 days ahead of its crushing defeat to Western Bulldogs, although its opponents only had one more day to rest and recover in that time, but is now on the road again to face Port.
