Incidents assessed:
Contact between West Coast Eagles' Tom Barrass and Melbourne’s Jack Viney from the second quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. A loose ball is gathered by Barrass who releases a handball to a teammate. Immediately after disposing of the football Barrass is met by Viney and braces for contact. It was the view of the MRO that Barrass did not elect to bump Viney and his actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.
