Star forward Nyakoat Dojiok will play her first game of the season when two-time reigning premier North Melbourne Werribee takes on the Box Hill Hawks on Saturday.

Last year’s leading goal kicker and 2024 Lisa Hardeman Medal winner has been unavailable throughout the opening month of the season but returns for the preliminary final rematch at Box Hill City Oval.

It’s a timely comeback for the Kangaroos, who have lost Shelby Knoll to a season-ending knee injury sustained on the full time siren in last week’s win over Tasmania.

Lulu Beatty returns for Darebin’s trip south to take on Tasmania at UTAS Stadium, where both sides will be hunting their first win of the year.

The Devils have named an unchanged line-up and are one of three teams to make no changes, along with Essendon and Williamstown.

Anna Vrsecky will play her first game since Round 1 when Casey Demons host the Bombers on Sunday.

Vrsecky was best on ground in the Demons opening round win over Tasmania, where she booted 3.4 from 19 disposals.
