Gold Coast star Matt Rowell (MID, $1.010M) has clearly had enough of losing and decided to do something about it! He was loving the wet conditions, throwing himself into the contest and tackling everything that moved on his way to an equal season-high 182, including a ridiculous 16 tackles. He also racked up 40 disposals and four marks, giving him a bargain BE of just 35 and further highlighting his red-hot form, with a huge 121 average over his last five.

Lachie Neale (MID, $993,000) reminded us all that he can still rack up points with the best of them, producing an impressive 147 against a quality Hawks outfit. The veteran midfielder collected 35 disposals, seven marks and nine tackles and looks an intriguing trade option with a very friendly run of fixtures for midfielders ahead.

Jase Burgoyne (DEF/MID, $910,000) continues to produce career-best footy after stepping into the midfield to help fill the void at the Power. He was everywhere against the Swans, finishing with 34 disposals, eight marks and six tackles for an excellent 140. He’s now averaging a very handy 106 over his last five.

Luke Davies-Uniacke (MID, $850,000) can be a frustrating player to own, but this was LDU at his best. He dominated against the Dogs for a season-high 139, finally breaking back into triple figures for the first time in five weeks.

Meanwhile, popular trade target Izak Rankine (MID/FWD, $984,000) certainly didn’t let his owners down, producing a monster 138 against the Tigers to further strengthen his case as one of the best targets last week and remain on the trade radar moving forward.

It wouldn't be season 2026 if we didn’t head into next round with injury concerns to star players, headlined by Saints superstar Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, (DEF/MID, $1,074M) who will miss the remainder of the season, and it will be a close watch on Jason Horne-Francis (FWD/MID, $965,000) after he pulled stumps early with a knee complaint.

Whether chasing cars, hats or flags, with just two weeks left it's all about form and fixture as we go 'chips in' on maximising weekly scores.

STOCKS UP

Errol Gulden (MID, $1,010M) The star Swan continued his great form with 135 to give him a three-game average of 125. That ticks the form box, how’s his fixture look? You may ask… He plays Essendon, need I say more. Swans then round out the season with the Roos at the SCG, so lock him in.

Bradley Hill (DEF/MID/FWD, $1,040M) It’s a case of the last ball magnet standing at the Saints which means there will be plenty of ball for the 33-year-old against the lowly Tigers. He has been on a tear, averaging 110 in his last five and he has a huge ceiling which he is set up to reach once again in this match up. The only concern is whether his knee is 100 per cent, so worth keeping an ear to the ground but I’m all in.

Dayne Zorko (DEF, $888,000) The 37-year-old is capable of scoring as well as anyone in the game and he has two nice match ups in the run home against the Suns and Pies. He is at a bargain price for what he can do and the injury risk isn’t a concern with just two weeks of the season remaining.

Chad Warner (FWD/MID, $961,000) The star Swan has become one of the most consistent performers in the game since receiving a spike in CBA. He has a low of 93 in the last ten weeks and is coming off three straight triple-figure scores, highlighted by 110 last week. He has an absolute lay up this week vs the Bombers and is a great target in the forward line.

Max Hall (FWD/MID, $929,000) If you are after a unique pick to shake up your finals campaign, the emerging Saints star is your guy. He is in great form with an average of 101 in his last three, which included an impressive 115 against the Blues He has a proven ceiling as we saw in round 17 when he scored 152 against the Bombers, and he plays the lowly Tigers this week where he is every chance to go whack again.

STOCKS DOWN

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (DEF, $1,074M) Another premo down unfortunately after the St Kilda superstar succumbed to a hamstring injury. He has had another great year, averaging 105, highlighted by his whopping 182 in round 20. He won’t play again this Fantasy season, so move him on.

Christian Petracca (FWD/MID, $665,000) Rinse and repeat. It’s at a point where it’s worth prioritising trading out the 30-year-old over any rookies that may remain on your ground. His score of 50 in round 21 was unfathomable, but round 22 said ‘hold my beer’ and returned a score of just 39 from 14 disposals, one tackle and no marks. He has dropped $283K since the start of the season, trade.

Murphy Reid (MID/FWD, $708,000) The talented youngster has been attracting plenty of opposition attention and it doesn’t bode well for his scoring, as we have seen the last five weeks with an average of 67 in that time. His 42 on the weekend was his second score in the 40s in the last four weeks and you don’t want that in Fantasy Finals.

Sam Durham (FWD/MID, $745,000) The 25-year-old found himself bumped out of the midfield and his scoring reflected that with a score of just 51 from 13 disposals. They have a tough game this week against the Swans and if his role from last week continues this week, points will be hard to come by.

Jason Horne-Francis (MID/FWD, $965,000) Despite escaping serious damage, it’s hard to see the Power sending their prized bull out on a knee that’s any less than 100 per cent given the season circumstances. He has a match up with the Dees this week and they have become quite restrictive of late, so it’s a close watch. It has to be highlighted that he plays the Bombers in round 24, so hopefully he is okay and owners can hold for a huge GF.
