SYDNEY'S Ally Morphett and Melbourne's Liv Purcell have continued their perfect starts to the season with 10-vote games in the AFL Coaches Association's AFLW Champion Player of the Year.

Morphett took home maximum votes from Sydney's win over Essendon, while Purcell also landed 10 in Melbourne's victory against Greater Western Sydney.

After perfect games in round one, the duo now sit top of the leaderboard on 20 votes.

North Melbourne star Ash Riddell landed nine votes in the win over Brisbane, while Mon Conti earned eight in Richmond's loss to the Western Bulldogs.

Riddell and Conti sit on 18 votes.

Isabelle Pritchard, Mim Strom, Erone Fitzpatrick and Lucy Wales joined Morphett and Purcell with perfect games in round two.

Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can get in each round.

The player with the most votes at the end of the home and away season will win the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
