THERE were an incredible nine perfect 10-vote games in round 23, while Collingwood gun Nick Daicos continued to push out his unassailable lead in the race for the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
Daicos polled seven votes in the Magpies' draw with Hawthorn, while Western Bulldogs skipper Marcus Bontempelli - who trailed Daicos by 34 votes leading into the round - did not play in his side's draw with Carlton.
Forward Beau McCreery took the 10 votes in the Magpies-Hawks clash, and midfield gun Ed Richards claimed the honours in the Dogs-Blues game.

Fremantle's Caleb Serong, St Kilda's Max Hall, Geelong's Tanner Bruhn, Brisbane's Will Ashcroft, Melbourne's Kade Chandler, Greater Western Sydney's Lachie Ash and Sydney's Isaac Heeney all polled 10 votes in their respective wins.
Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can get in each round.
The player with the most votes at the end of the home and away season will win the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
