ADELAIDE defender Max Michalanney is facing a delayed start to the 2027 season after being offered a one-match ban for striking.
Michalanney was cited for striking Brisbane forward Charlie Cameron during the Crows' semi-final loss at the Gabba on Saturday night.
The incident was graded as intentional conduct, medium impact and body contact, leading to the one-game ban.
With Adelaide's season over, Michalanney will miss round one next year unless the Crows successfully challenge the ban.
Lions Dayne Zorko and Cam Rayner were both fined for staging.
