HAWTHORN has been boosted by the return of Greta Bodey for its crucial clash against Carlton at Ikon Park on Thursday night.

Bodey has been sidelined since round four due to concussion and was an emergency for the Hawks' loss to Geelong last week.

Lavinia Cox comes in for her first game of the season, with Keely Coyne and Bridie Hipwell the two Hawks dropped.

The Blues have made one change with Gab Pound replacing Amelia Velardo (managed).

Star ruck Lucy Wales has been named for the Hawks despite concerns over a wrist injury, while teammate Jas Fleming is set to play her 50th AFLW game.

Tara Bohanna, who last played for Carlton against Melbourne in round six, is named among the emergencies for the Blues.

The Hawks (4-3) are looking for their first win at Ikon Park after losing their previous five games at the venue, while the Blues are 5-2.
