ST KILDA has swooped to snare young Brisbane midfielder Sam Marshall on Friday.
The Saints have sent their first round pick in 2027 north, with Marshall and this year’s pick 39 heading to Moorabbin.

AFL.com.au's Josh Gabelich confirmed the deal has been lodged with the League on a busy day, well in advance of the Trade Period’s official deadline day next Wednesday.
Marshall originally joined Brisbane through the 2024 draft when the club matched a pick at number 25 for its Academy product.

He played 11 senior games in his first season culminating in being a member of the Lions’ 2025 premiership-winning side.
However, opportunities dried up this year, with Marshall managing just two outings at AFL level.
