A MAMMOTH five-club mega deal has been approved by the AFL, with Port Adelaide, Melbourne, the Western Bulldogs, Hawthorn and Carlton completing one of the most complex swaps of the trade period.
The deal sees the Power slide back two spots in this year’s draft but significantly strengthen their future hand, securing picks 6 and 10 as well as future first-round selections tied to the Demons and the Dogs.

Melbourne has emerged with a major haul this year, moving up to pick 4 while also landing 12, 31 and 46.
The Bulldogs add Finn Maginness from Hawthorn and Hudson O'Keeffe from Carlton while collecting picks 81 and 87 as well as a suite of future picks, with picks 12 and 31 and their 2028 first-round selection heading out as part of the trade.
Hawthorn receives a 2027 third-round pick tied to Port Adelaide for Maginness, while Carlton secures a 2028 fourth-round pick tied to Port Adelaide after sending O'Keeffe to the Bulldogs.
