JAKE Stringer has become the latest member of the 'four-club club' after his move from Greater Western Sydney to St Kilda was confirmed on Wednesday.
Stringer had expressed a desire to return to Victoria to be closer to family and the Saints were happy to offer the 32-year-old a chance to continue his sometimes stormy, always entertaining career.

Originally selected by the Western Bulldogs with the fifth pick overall in the 2012 National Draft, Stringer went on to be a premiership player for the Dogs in 2016 before being traded to Essendon the following year.
He was the Bombers' leading goalkicker in 2018, 2019 and 2021 and became a fan favourite, but was moved on again at the end of 2024.
Stringer played 38 games in his two seasons at GWS, kicking 73 goals including 48 this year to head the Giants' goalkicking list.
A contract logjam of key forwards at Engie Stadium saw Stringer and Jesse Hogan with unclear futures as GWS prioritised giving opportunities to Aaron Cadman and Max Gruzewski.
