SYDNEY star Chloe Molloy has claimed the AFLW's Leading Goalkicker Award after a record-breaking season.

Molloy kicked four goals during the Swans' win over Fremantle on Sunday to take her tally to 28 for the season.

With her third, Molloy moved ahead of Aine McDonagh and Jackie Parry (26 each) atop the goalkicking charts.

The three-time All-Australian added a fourth with a brilliant finish from the pocket in the final quarter.

Molloy's tally of 28 is the most in a single season, topping the 25 majors kicked by Port Adelaide's Indy Tahau last year.

"Chloe is an absolute superstar. Some of the goals she kicked today, I haven't seen many people do that on a footy field. The snap from the pocket was incredible," Sydney coach Colin O'Riordan said.

Chloe Molloy does it all to get the Swans over the line with four goals and the game-saving mark

"Like I always say about Chloe, she builds her game off defensive pressure and defensive acts.

"It's not flashy. It looks flashy and the outcome is always flashy and the goals look amazing, but if you watch the behind the goals vision of Chloe and how she gets the ball and what she does to actually get herself in those positions, that's the most impressive thing for me.

"She gets on the end and it looks amazing and she's a fantastic player, but it comes off bloody hard work. That's what we see every single week.

"The cherry on top is what people see and the nice stuff and the shiny stuff is what people see, but we see the hard work and desire she does every single week so incredible player and credit to her for taking out the goalkicker of the year award."
