ST KILDA has started its list overhaul following a poor season on field, cutting Darcy Guttridge and Rene Caris.

After playing finals in 2025 the Saints fell to the bottom of the AFLW ladder this year, winning their only game in Nick Dal Santo’s final match as senior coach.

Guttridge moved to St Kilda following two seasons and three games with Collingwood after the Magpies selected her with the No.9 overall pick of the 2017 draft.

She was an inaugural Saint, racking up a further 67 games with the club playing mainly on the half-forward line and wing.

Guttridge played 10 senior games in 2026 but returned the lowest average disposals of her career as the side struggled.

Caris arrived at RSEA Park ahead of 2024 after four seasons at Geelong and one at Greater Western Sydney.

The ruck played 20 senior games for St Kilda for a career total of 37.

"Darcy and Rene have both been important members of our playing group, both on and off the field, and we're incredibly grateful for everything they've given to the club throughout their time with us," Saints general manager of AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

"Both have brought their own personality and strengths to our group, and have made a significant contribution to our program in so many ways .

"Darcy in particular has been part of our journey since the very beginning, and as an inaugural Saint, has played an important role in helping shape our club over the past six years.

"We thank both players for their commitment and dedication to St Kilda, wish them nothing but the best for what comes next and know they will always be welcome back at RSEA Park."
