The inside word
The younger brother of Sydney Swans permiership player Amon, Buchanan returned to the TAC Cup with the Geelong Falcons this year as an over-aged player after spending two years playing cricket with the Victorian Bushrangers. Unfortunately he hurt the posterior cruciate ligament in his knee after just five games. While AFL recruiters saw only a glimpse of the once highly-rated small forward in 2013, talent isn't lost overnight. As a projected top-30 draft pick in 2011, there's no doubting Buchanan has plenty of it.
