SYDNEY Swans premiership player Nick Malceski will take over the jumper number previously worn by Karmichael Hunt when he runs out for Gold Coast next season.

The 2014 All Australian defender will wear the No.7 after coming to the Suns via free agency in the off-season.

Following the completion of Wednesday's NAB AFL Rookie Draft, Gold Coast completed the distribution of numbers for its entire list.

Malceski wore the No.9 with the Swans, but already being owned by Suns skipper Gary Ablett, had to look elsewhere.

He takes the number worn by Hunt during his five seasons at Metricon Stadium before the former rugby league star retired at the end of last season to take up a position with the Queensland Reds rugby franchise.

Hawthorn recruit Mitch Hallahan has been handed No.14 after wearing No.38 during his four seasons at Waverley Park.

Former Brisbane Lions and Richmond midfielder Andrew Raines will continue to wear the No.29 guernsey which he wore for five seasons at the Lions.

National draft recruits Peter Wright will wear No.30, Jarrod Garlett No.41 and Touk Miller will wear Nathan Bock’s No.44 guernsey.

Rookie draft selection Keegan Brooksby (No.31), Josh Glenn (No.34), Tyrone Downie (No.38) and Adam Saad (No.42) were also given their numbers.
