IT'S ALL eyes on Perth this weekend as the Hawks and Roos try to maintain a bit of Victorian pride, and keep the Dockers and Eagles from bringing 2015's third Western Derby to Melbourne for the Grand Final.

With AFL Fantasy Match Day, the right mix of seven players in both preliminary finals could net fans a $10,000 prize, which would perk up Grand Final week no end.

If you like the Hawks' chances of putting the choke on Fremantle and setting themselves up for a three-peat, then you'd be wise to pick their big game players – notably Jordan Lewis, Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell (unless Ryan Crowley is named) and Jarryd Roughead.

Roughead is certainly due a big game after quiet outings in the two finals so far. He has managed two Fantasy scores of 140 and one of 139 this year so if he gets on top of the Dockers' defence, there's plenty of points to be had.

Luke Breust was the top scoring Hawk in the semi-final demolition of the Crows, slotting six goals straight but you'd get long odds on him repeating the dose against the stingy Dockers. Consider instead one of Fremantle's small forwards like Michael Walters or Chris Mayne to bob up with a big score.

Saturday night's tasty-looking clash between the Eagles and the Roos is the tougher game to pick for Fantasy. For example, with just one ruck slot to fill, do you pick Todd Goldstein or Nic Naitanui? On sheer numbers (not to mention form), Goldstein seems the smart choice but if you think the Eagles can win comfortably, Nic Nat will surely be a big part of that success.

Midfield slots have to go to those hard-working Eagles Matt Priddis and Andrew Gaff. Priddis is Fantasy's most dependable pick and Gaff went on a nine-game bender in the middle of the season where he scored over 100 in every match.

Whichever way you choose to pick, make sure you get your selections in before first bounce in each game and then sit back and cheer on your 'lucky seven' with live scores via the AFL.com.au match centre and AFL Live app.
