FANS overwhelmingly consider first-year Western Bulldogs captain Robert Murphy the best leader in the AFL.

In the fans' 2015 Virgin Australia AFL All Australian team, compiled from predicted teams on AFL.com.au, Murphy (1350 votes) comfortably beat Adelaide counterpart Taylor Walker (684 votes) for the honour. 

Fremantle star Nat Fyfe came in third in the captaincy race with 619 votes.

West Coast and Adelaide are the most represented clubs in the fans' team, with four players each.

The Western Bulldogs (three), Sydney Swans (two) and Greater Western Sydney (two) are the only other clubs with multiple players selected.

A total of 12 clubs were represented. Reigning premiers Hawthorn are only represented by Sam Mitchell on the interchange bench, while Fyfe is the only representative from the Hawks' Friday night opponents Fremantle.
