ADELAIDE co-captain Chelsea Randall has accepted a reprimand with an early guilty plea for a sling tackle on Melbourne ruck Lauren Pearce in their NAB AFL Women’s match on Saturday.

Randall was charged with engaging in rough conduct during the first quarter of the Crows’ two-point loss in Darwin.

The incident was categorised as careless with low impact to the head, resulting in a one-match suspension. The ban was downgraded to a reprimand with the early guilty plea.

The AFLW Match Review Panel also assessed a sling tackle by Fremantle’s Melissa Caulfield on Carlton’s Gabriella Pound from Friday and a bump by the Brisbane Lions’ Alexandra Anderson on the Western Bulldogs’ Kirsty Lamb on Saturday. Both players were cleared.
