STAR Adelaide recruit Bryce Gibbs will wear the No.6 for the Crows next season.

The No.6 jumper became available when defender Jake Lever was traded to Melbourne during the NAB AFL Trade Period.

High-flying forward Tony Modra is the most accomplished Crow to don the No.6 in the club's 27-year history.

Gibbs supported Modra as a junior, and he also wanted to wear the same number as one of his best mates, Carlton veteran Kade Simpson.

Gibbs wore No.4 during his 231 games for Carlton, but had to change with key forward Josh Jenkins wearing that number at the Crows.

The Crows' other new addition, North Melbourne winger Sam Gibson, will wear the No.20 jumper.

Gibson played 130 consecutive games for the Kangaroos in the No.43.

The No.20 jumper became available when midfielder Hugh Greenwood took over the No.1 jumper for next season.

Famous numbers 23, 32 and 36 are among the numbers available to the Crows' draftees.
