ANDREW Gaff and Andrew Brayshaw have met in person so the West Coast star could apologise over the on-field punch that ended the Fremantle youngster's season.

Fresh from receiving an eight-game suspension from the AFL Tribunal, Gaff, who has remained in Melbourne with family after the hearing, visited Brayshaw at his family's home.

The Dockers teenager is staying at his parents' house in Melbourne as he recovers from the devastating damage to his mouth and jaw.

In this week's AFL Exchange podcast, Andrew's older brother, Melbourne midfielder Angus Brayshaw, reveals details of the meeting between the pair.

He explains how Gaff dropped around for a half-hour chat, bringing with him a bunch of flowers for the Brayshaws' mother, Debra.
