LIAM Stocker's path to being named this year's Morrish medallist is an unusual one.

The Sandringham Dragon, who was named this week as the TAC Cup's best and fairest player in 2018, grew up in Asia playing rugby, soccer, tennis and being a swimmer. 

The potential top-20 pick at this year's NAB AFL Draft joins the Road to the Draft podcast this week to discuss his background and rise into draft contention. 

Stocker also chats about the injury setback earlier this year which made him think his draft chance could close.
