PROMISING Adelaide youngster Elliott Himmelberg will miss Saturday's under-23 trial game against Port Adelaide at Thebarton Oval with a minor foot injury.

The 20-year-old aggravated his plantar fascia, but should be available for selection for the Crows' first JLT Community Series game with the Power in Port Pirie on March 2.

The 198cm forward is an exciting long-term prospect for the Crows and made his debut in last year's round 23 thumping of Carlton, having 13 touches and kicking a goal.

Midfielder Brad Crouch – who missed all of last year with groin soreness – will play in the under-23 trial, along with fellow over-age player Alex Keath, while the Power will field experienced trio Matthew Broadbent, Sam Gray and Trent McKenzie.
