WITH the JLT Community Series done and dusted, we now face an exciting week of media watch as clubs slowly announce debutants for round one… otherwise known as fresh meat to the Fantasy tragic.

While we wait, cast your eyes over the latest version of The Traders' team leading into the exciting first lockout of the season.

CHECK THE CHANGES The Traders' pre-JLT team

Defenders

Our backline structure would be reasonably popular, selecting two of the big three with Jake Lloyd and Lachie Whitfield getting the gig over Rory Laird, purely due to being a little cheaper.

Popular mid-priced picks Brodie Smith and Zac Williams are must-haves at that price, providing the latter is selected in round one after being 'managed' in the second JLT.

We have paid up for the remaining young guns on the field after both looked right at home in the JLT and should be serviceable on field cash cows.

Midfielders

Stephen Coniglio is our main man in the middle as he looks set to not only carry on from last year but embrace the increased responsibility in the absence of Dylan Shiel and take his domination to another level.

Angus Brayshaw used the JLT to confirm his end to the season was no fluke, forcing the hand of many coaches with his selection while we like the chances of Dusty Martin returning to his best with the new rule changes working to his advantage.

We have gone with some mid-priced madness after that with huge upside predicted in all of Tim Taranto, Brad Crouch and Tom Liberatore, while Sam Walsh is a must have in the first rookie spot.

Rucks

After plenty of messing around in the ruck department, it's time to get serious and pick the two best big men in the game, Brodie Grundy and Max Gawn.

Forwards

Patrick Dangerfield should appear in all sides and is certainly holding the fort for us up forward while we are backing the late-season form of Josh Dunkley and Tim Kelly to carry over to 2019.

Will Setterfield did enough to confirm his popularity with a solid JLT that included plenty of midfield time while Willem Drew was a pleasant surprise, attending more centre bounces than predicted and earning himself a gig on the ground.
