RICHMOND premiership players Daniel Rioli and Nick Vlastuin have both signed two-year deals and are set to be at Punt Road until the end of 2021.

The pair were due to come out of contract at the end of this season.

The 21-year-old Rioli has the neat figures of 51 goals from 55 games since he was drafted with pick 15 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.

The small forward is expected to increase his time in the midfield this year as his endurance develops.

"My grandfather (Maurice) played here and I want to play as many games as possible at this club, so I'm rapt to be on board for a couple more years," Rioli told richmondfc.com.au.

"I hope to continue what I've brought to the club and to try to be a leader to the younger boys coming through."

Vlastuin is a key part of Richmond's backline, having played 117 games after being selected with pick nine in the 2012 draft.

"We always know what we're going to get when Nick takes [to] the field, he's a tough player and reads the play so well," Richmond's general manager of football Neil Balme said.

"Nick's also a great character with natural leadership qualities and, like Daniel, he's had a fantastic pre-season and we're looking forward to his season ahead.

"Both Daniel and Nick are important players for our future and we're really pleased they both see Richmond as their home."
