THE RETURN of Brownlow medallists Nat Fyfe and Dustin Martin lead the inclusions for round five, however many Fantasy Draft coaches are seething that Devon Smith (managed) will miss the Good Friday blockbuster.

Smith was the No.1 forward last season but is averaging fewer than 90 points so far this year after being a popular first-round Draft pick in the pre-season, carrying an average draft pick (ADP) of 12.

With the news that Will Setterfield accepted his two-match ban for his tackle on Wil Powell, who is out this week with concussion, a few Fantasy Classic forward lines will have some forced trades to be executed before lockout.

The Bulldogs announced that Will Hayes (MID, $170,000) and Lachie Young (DEF, $170,000) will make their debut on Sunday. Hayes, 23, is the one that Fantasy Classic coaches are likely to be interested in as a bench downgrade target.

Jackson Hately (MID, $244,000) will play his first game for the Giants after scoring 100 and 94 in the last fortnight in the NEAFL. The No.14 draft pick averaged 96 in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships last year.

On Thursday night the Magpies ran out 62-point winners over the Lions at the Gabba. Adam Treloar top scored for the night with 120 thanks to 36 disposals. If you handed him the VC, he is the only option to try and loophole as he was the only player to score more than the commonly accepted 120-point line. The next highest scorer was Brody Mihocek with 105 after kicking a game-high four goals.

Get them in

Lachie Neale (MID, $809,000)
After a slow start on debut, the former Docker is on a tear, winning possessions at will and his scoring is reflecting that with 146, 135 and 139 in his last three. He has a breakeven of 83 so is set to rise in price again.

Caleb Daniel (FWD, $606,000)
Although the young Dog is named as a forward, he has been playing across the backline and is a sure thing to receive dual-position status in round six. His form has been great there with a low score of 96 in his last three outings.

Will Hayes (MID, $170,000)
Last year’s VFL best and fairest at Footscray has been rewarded for his ball-magnet ways with a debut at the top level this week. The mature-age recruit averaged 90 and 98 the past two years and has scores of 87 and 95 in the first two games this year.

Get them out

Dom Sheed (MID, $641,000)
After two hundreds to start the year, Sheed hasn’t reached those heights again following the return of Andrew Gaff. His disappointing score of just 65 on the weekend gives him a breakeven of 102 and it’s time to trade.

Justin Westhoff (FWD/RUC, $630,000)
The Hoff seems to be the only one who hasn’t embraced the higher scoring ways of the Power and has dropped off significantly. He has dropped $110,000 since the start of the year due to averaging just 72 and has a breakeven of 153.

Jordan Clark (DEF, $329,000)
The talented Cat defender might be worth cashing in early as part of an upgrade trade. His breakeven is still only 42 but with many of his coaches playing him on the ground, a score of 33 forces their hand.

Calvin’s Captains

No. 1 – Jack Macrae v Carlton
Last week, Miller (149) and Fiorini (114) had a ball against the Blues and this week Macrae will have his turn. He has scored 124, 145 and 123 in his last three games against Carlton and should be awesome against a team who has given up the most 120+ scores this year.

No. 2 – Jake Lloyd v Richmond
Lloyd nearly got my No.1 spot this week but it was his inability to score over 130 that bumped him down. In fact, he has only gone over 130 twice in the last three years. However, he plays the Tigers and in recent weeks, defenders have racked up plenty against them.

No. 3 – Max Gawn v St Kilda
Gawn scored 135 and 111 last year against the Saints and only finds himself against Rowan Marshall. Coming off a nice 125, I’m expecting big things from Max again here.

No. 4 – Lachie Whitfield v Fremantle
He’s averaging 140 in his past three games and is proving a handful for his opposition. His numbers against the Dockers aren’t overly great, but how can you overlook him here.

No. 5 – Stephen Coniglio v Fremantle
Coniglio scored 121 against the Dockers last year and over his career he averages 100+ against them. Gaff (134) and Redden (127) dominated last week against Ross Lyon’s men and I’m tipping Coniglio to do the same this week.
