Star midfielder Jaeger O'Meara returns after missing last week's loss to St Kilda with a hip complaint, with key forward Mitchell Lewis named for his third game of AFL after two last year.

Key back Kaiden Brand comes in for the injured James Frawley (hamstring), with fellow defender David Mirra dropped.

As forecast by Geelong coach Chris Scott on Friday, the Cats have made just the one change, with Cam Guthrie returning for draftee midfielder Charlie Constable (rested).

Guthrie played his first game for the season in the VFL last week after battling calf soreness.
