Crouch, Douglas and Seedsman could all be cleared to face Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday. Crouch sustained a heavy contusion to his hip early in the third quarter of last Saturday night's Showdown against Port Adelaide. He will be assessed at the club's main training session on Thursday. Douglas has got through a large volume of training since having surgery for a high ankle sprain eight weeks ago. Seedsman is also expected to be available to play his first game since hyperextending his knee six weeks ago. Douglas and Seedsman would more than likely return through the SANFL, especially considering the Crows have won their past four AFL games. - Lee Gaskin

Elliott won't face St Kilda at the MCG on Saturday but Beams, Cox and Aish loom as handy inclusions. The Pies could be forced to make at least one change after the unlucky Mayne was concussed in his return from a fractured back, while Thomas was sore after a late knock against Carlton. ApplebyMurphy and Tyler Brown are nearing returns, but Adams is a little further away. Scharenberg is back training with the main group as he comes back from a third knee reconstruction, but the season seems over for veteran Dunn after a second anterior cruciate ligament rupture in nine months. - Ben Collins

He is seeing a specialist this week so the club will make a decision after that on its plans for last year's best and fairest winner. Daniher and Baguley are available after being rested last week, while Laverde is also ready to play following another hamstring concern. Selwood missed round seven with an "upper leg" and last week with a "lower leg." After barely training last week, the aim will be to get two big sessions into him ahead of the clash with the Dogs. Atkins was able to push through a hip complaint against the Roos, however will need a fitness test this week. Menegola was a late out with a knee injury sustained late in the week and will be touch-and-go this week. Rohan and Buzza will be monitored after concussions in the AFL and VFL matches, while Kreuger missed last week after concussion the week prior. Henderson has suffered another foot injury, with the Cats awaiting the full diagnosis. After a promising patch of form, Narkle strained his hamstring in the VFL. - Mitch Cleary

Early prognosis

Whitfield and Mumford should be available to take on Carlton on Sunday in a big boost for the Giants. Brett Deledio is ready to play so coach Leon Cameron has to decide if he needs a run in the NEAFL before being recalled to senior level after missing the past six weeks with his calf injury. Key defender Corr should be fit to take on Melbourne at the MCG next week. - Adam Curley

HAWTHORN

 Tim Mohr  Dislocated knee/ACL  Season
 Jack Scrimshaw  Migraine  Test
 Isaac Smith  Foot  Test
 Chad Wingard  Hamstring  Test
 Updated: Tuesday, May 14

Early prognosis

The Hawks say Scrimshaw's migraine caused him to have some blurred vision and he subsequently sat out most of the second half of Sunday's win over the Giants. Smith aims to return to the field on Sunday after being a late withdrawal, while Wingard will increase his training load in the hope of also playing. Mitchell has undergone surgery to remove the metal plates and screws from his broken leg, so he will have some light weeks ahead before building up his running again. - Marc McGowan

 Jack Watts  Leg  Indefinite
 Ollie Wines  Leg  5-6 weeks
 Updated: Tuesday, May 14

Early prognosis

Initially slated to miss four weeks with a broken hand, Gray is a chance to return after just two and face Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval on Sunday. It would be a much-needed boost to a growing injury list at Alberton. Burton is out for up to a month with a hamstring strain, Jonas will miss a fourth straight game with a calf injury and Ebert will have more tests to determine if he's right to return from concussion. But there are two bits of good news – the Power finally have a firm timeline on Dixon's return from a badly broken leg and dislocated ankle, and ruckman Sam Hayes will play in the SANFL this weekend in his first game in almost 12 months after a torn ACL. The Power are aiming for Dixon to make his comeback after the mid-season bye. - Lee Gaskin
