WITH one bye round behind us, we look ahead to what will be the most challenging week, when it comes to fielding 18 players.

Coming off their bye, popular trade targets Ryan Gardner (FWD/DEF, $178,000), Brett Bewley (MID, $203,000) and Dylan Clarke (MID, $291,000) all made the cut and will be highly sought after options. Despite his expensive price-tag, Clarke is the pick of three after he scored 109 in his first game for the year.

GWS has named Jake Stein (DEF, $170,000) for his first game. His NEAFL numbers haven’t been overly impressive and that’s why you might need to jump on Nick Hind (MID, $170,000) instead who will make his debut for the Saints in favourable match-up against the Suns. The 23-year-old has averaged 88 in the VFL this year.

Griffin Logue (DEF, $216,000) makes his way into the Docker’s team off the back of some injuries to their defence. Although his scoring output won’t be huge, his job security should be fine for the coming weeks.

Unfortunately, for those who held him, Tom Rockliff (MID, $712,000) has failed to get up again from his hamstring injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the last three weeks.

On a lighter note, Marc Murphy (MID, $598,000) returns for the Blues, as does Dylan Shiel (MID, $713,000), who is set to take on the Blues on Friday night.

Get them in

Josh Dunkley (FWD/MID, $707,000)
Has been back in the midfield and his scoring has reflected that with an average of 117 in that time. He is fresh off the bye and is in the 'must have' category.

Dylan Clarke (MID, $291,000)
Although he is quite expensive for a downgrade trade, he showed his worth with 23 possessions and 10 tackles for 109. He has a breakeven of -8.

Nick Hind (MID, $170,000)
The downgrade target of the week is the mature-age Saint as he makes his debut for the club. He is 23 years old and has averaged 81 from his seven games in the VFL this year from 23 disposals.

Get them out

Marty Hore (DEF, $471,000)
The Demon defender has been a sensation this year but he has basically done his job, all but maxing out in price. With the bye this week, he can be moved on.

Gryan Miers (FWD, $462,000)
The young Cat has been outstanding this year, increasing by 292K since the start of the year. With the bye this week, it is the perfect time to upgrade him to a premium.

Tom Rockliff (MID, $712,000)
The Pig’s one week of hamstring awareness has turned into a concern for coaches that held him and were relying on him to play in the middle bye. It’s now his third week out and some will be forced to trade in order to avoid a zero.

Calvin’s Captains

No. 1 – Josh Kelly v Kangaroos
Based on form alone, Kelly sits comfortable at the top of the list again this week. Coming off 128 against Adelaide last week, Kelly has now averaged 134 in his last three games. He last played the Kangaroos in 2017, where he scored 119 in Hobart – the same venue he plays this week.

No. 2 – Zach Merrett v Hawthorn
Merrett has scored 125 and 143 in his last two games at Marvel Stadium and meets a team he has scored 134, 64, 129 and 115 against in his last four games.

No. 3 – Nat Fyfe v Port Adelaide
With four scores over 120 in his last six games, Fyfe is running hot at the moment. Fresh off his bye, Fyfe should be ready to roll with another 120+ score at home.

No. 4 – Patrick Cripps v Bulldogs
Why not? His 151 last week made everyone remember exactly what this guy is capable of. The Dogs can be rather restrictive on their day though, but he has scored 93, 104 and 112 against them in his most recent games.

No. 5 – Josh Dunkley v Carlton
Dunkley has averaged 117 in his last five games and scored 84 against the Blues when they met earlier this year. Last year he scored 132 against them, which happened to be his second-highest Fantasy score to date.
