NEW SOUTH Wales/ACT has won the division two title in the NAB AFL Under-16 Championships after crushing Tasmania at Aspley on Saturday.

NSW/ACT's victory was never in doubt after it scored the first nine goals and restricted Tassie to just one goal in the opening three quarters, eventually triumphing by 41 points.

Later at the same venue, Brisbane Lions academy prospect Noah McFadyen leapt to prominence with a superb performance in attack in Queensland's 52-point win over Northern Territory in the final round of division two competition in the NAB AFL Under-16 Championships.

McFadyen outscored the NT boys by himself, bagging eight of Queensland's 14 goals in an eye-catching best-on-ground display.
