THE OPPORTUNITY

 

The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications from suitably enthusiastic individuals as the Human Resource Coordinator in our People Development Department.


The Human Resource Coordinator’s primary role is to assist the Human Resource Manager to ensure that the Club’s HR practices across Football and Commercial Operations are aligned to assist the Club achieve its business goals.

 

This role would suit recent graduates who are keen to pursue a career in HR and have a passion for professional sport.

 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

 

The role will assist in delivering core human resource processes including:

 

  • Recruitment and selection processes of all positions at the Club
  • Employment contracting of all Sydney Swans employees and consultants
  • Induction of new employees and consultants to the Club
  • Development of the Employee Training & Development Program
  • Delivery of the Performance Management Program
  • Contribute to the Sydney Swans Risk Management Program
  • Contribute to the Sydney Swans Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Contribute to the Sydney Swans Diversity Action Plan

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in Human Resource Management and/or Industrial Relations
  • Ability to communicate, relate and accommodate the views of others
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
