PORT Adelaide has delisted experienced defender Matthew Broadbent, while young forward Aidyn Johnson has also left the club.

The reliable Broadbent parts way with the Power after 171 games across 11 years, though he was restricted by injury over the last two seasons and also took a break to deal with his mental health this year.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Johnson managed just 11 senior matches across four years with the club.

"Matthew has shown remarkable resilience over the last couple of years in fighting back from a number of serious injuries," Port footy boss Chris Davies said.

"At his peak Matthew’s hands were some of the cleanest in the competition and his ability to use the ball by foot was outstanding.

"He’s been a terrific servant of the club but with depth in the defensive area of the ground, we have made the difficult decision to part ways."
