CLUBS will get a final chance to assess Brodie Kemp's reconstructed knee, with the potential top-10 pick among a group of 13 players set to undergo more medical checks before this month's NAB AFL Draft.

Kemp is nearly four months into his recovery from a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament that prematurely ended his season just as he was hitting top form.

The Bendigo Pioneers prospect is likely to be unavailable until after mid-season next year but Carlton, Melbourne and Sydney are among the clubs with top-10 selections who have been linked to the versatile 192cm teenager.

His rehabilitation is going well but club medicos will get a last look at the injury before the national draft on November 27-28.

The extra medical day will take place next Friday at Marvel Stadium, with a number of other likely first-round picks to undergo further assessments.

Fischer McAsey, Miles Bergman, Josh Worrell and Dylan Stephens will also be looked at, after recruiters were able to nominate players they hoped to do more medical assessments on following October's NAB AFL Draft Combine.

McAsey (foot stress fracture), Bergman (shin splints) and Worrell (shoulder) were unable to complete testing at the Combine but are among 13 players who will undergo further tests under the eye of medical staff as clubs get closer to their final calls for the draft.

Sam De Koning, Louis Butler, Dylan Williams, Ryan Sturgess and Mitch O'Neill will also complete medicals under club eyes next Friday, while Stephens (in South Australia) and Riley Garcia, Mitch Georgiades and Jake Pasini (in Western Australia) will also screened by independent medical staff.

The checks are regular practice for clubs in November under AFL supervision as scouts search for extra information in the lead-up to the national and rookie intakes.

A group of players who were restricted by injury will also have the chance to leave recruiters with a final good impression by completing the 2km time trial next week at Collingwood's Holden Centre headquarters.

PHANTOM FORM GUIDE Cal Twomey's October update

Talented forward Dylan Williams is among the group, having recovered well from the back stress fracture he suffered after the mid-year under-18 championships.

Adam Carafa, Jye Chalcraft, Cameron Wild, Leo Connolly and Jack Bell will also complete the time trial, while Flynn Perez and Damon Freitag (in South Australia) are also expected to do it after recovering from their respective injuries.
