AFL Statement

The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review of Week One of the Marsh Community Series has been completed. A total of four charges were laid.

Charges Laid:

Marley Williams, North Melbourne, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Ed Richards, Western Bulldogs, during the second quarter of the Marsh Community Series match between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, played at Marvel Stadium on Friday February 21. 

In summary he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct with High Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction.
 
Matt Crouch, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Clayton Oliver, Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Marsh Community Series match between Melbourne and the Adelaide Crows, played at Casey Fields on Saturday February 22. 

In summary he can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.

Dayne Zorko, Brisbane Lions, has been charged with Misconduct against Kane Farrell, Port Adelaide, during the first quarter of the Marsh Community Series match between the Brisbane Lions and Port Adelaide, played at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex on Sunday February 23.
