PLAYERS could return severely out of shape if or when clubs return from this COVID-19 induced lockdown.

"Some can't be trusted on their own," warns Matthew Lloyd on Access All Areas.

"It's about putting trust in your players, but as I said if we get this season up and running, some teams will come back fantastically well with solid senior groups and others won't come back well at all."

While some will be fighting to keep excess weight off through running, a bigger challenge will be posed to the players trying to put on muscle, with gyms set to be closed.
