Which classic Showdown will be on?

THE NOSTALGIA trip continues this weekend as football keeps heading down memory lane.

In the absence of live action, we will air classic matches from years gone by featuring the teams that were initially set to do battle in round two of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

With no live footy, AFL.tv and the AFL Live Official App will air classic matches from the past, featuring the teams who were fixtured to meet in round two.

Port Adelaide v Adelaide, 6.30pm AEDT

Everyone loves a Showdown, and we've got plenty to pick from.

The Power came from 20 points down with 11 minutes left in round 19 of 2013, with Chad Wingard booting two of the final four goals himself. Will that comeback be enough to get that match over the line?

Will we see Port Adelaide just fall short after booting four final-quarter majors and holding Adelaide to just two points in round 16, 2015? It was a game played amid tragic circumstances, just weeks after Crows coach Phil Walsh's passing.

Or will it be some Stevie Motlop magic, booting the winner in the last minute after teammate Robbie Gray had recorded five of his own in round 8, 2018?

>> Continue to find ways to cheer on your side. If you're an AFL Live Pass subscriber, tune in on the AFL Live Official App and AFL.tv and Friday night from 7.50pm AEDT to watch the match in full as it happened.
