LEADING AFL players will plunge into icy waters for the sixth annual 'Big Freeze' event to support Neale Daniher's FightMND fundraiser.

The event will be broadcast live on AFL.com.au, the AFL Live Official App and Channel Seven from 4pm AEST on the Queen's Birthday holiday on Monday, June 8.

Normally set to take place before the annual clash between Collingwood and Melbourne at the MCG, the 'Big Freeze' has been forced to improvise amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

All 18 AFL clubs will have one player representative brave the slide into the ice bath.
