COLLINGWOOD swingman Darcy Moore is on track to re-sign with Collingwood, his manager says.

Despite intense speculation linking the son of Magpies great Peter Moore to a move to Sydney, his high-profile agent has given the strongest indication yet his client will stay.

"I'm confident he will re-sign with Collingwood," Liam Pickering told Radio SEN.

All I ever said was Sydney have got some interest," he said.

"Are there clubs inquiring about Darcy? Of course there are. Darcy is the flavour of the month now."

Pickering confirmed negotiations were well under way.

"I've been in discussions with Collingwood for a number of weeks now, so I'm comfortable where it is all at," he said.

"I speak to (Collingwood list manager) Ned Guy once a week.

"I'm not putting a time-frame on it, you want to get it done when it's ready.

Moore was taken as a father-son selection in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft.

He has played 52 games in the black and white but only five so far this season as he battled injuries.
